Astrology has a Thirteenth Sign?

Astrology has been around for years and literally means 'Language of the stars'. The belief of astrology is that the stars somehow are a mirror image of what is happening in the lives of people on earth or in the term 'As above, so below' (Astrology Basics). Where most people are aware of their sun sign, or the sign that was present when they were born, astrology also focuses on someones moon sign and rising sign which are based on the time and place of a person's birth. Based on these three main principals it is believed astrology can accurately predict the relationships between people and the conflicts that may arise.
Recently a new idea has been proposed and a new sun sign has been introduced to astrology, sending many people into a rage as the same 12 signs have been a constant in most people's lives and to suddenly be told they are a completely new person seems to startle and upset most. A Minnesota man named Parke Kunkle declared that the moons gravitational pull moved the earth and thus has created a move of the signs by a month for each. For example Sagittarius now lays on December 17 through January 20 instead of it's original time of November 22 through December 22. This bump created a brand new sign known as Ophiuchus which appears every few years through the constellations. (New Zodiac Sign: Astrology Makeover or Misinformation?)
However don't start memorizing a new sign's personality description just yet. Though Kunkle is accurate in his observations, it doesn't affect the signs as we know them, nor does it change everyone's sun sign. American's follow what is considered Western astrology, which focuses more on the seasons and the changes of the stars in the seasons then the actual constellations. The change Kunkle was observing was for Eastern Astrology, but was something the astrologer happened to forget, or at least forgot to mention in his interview where he revealed his newest find.
